• Body Composition Data: Weight, fat percentage, muscle mass, and other metrics via our smart scale.
• Activity Data: Daily steps, exercise routines, and movement data via our smart ring.
• Sleep Data: Sleep duration and quality, tracked through our smart ring.

3) Device and Usage Data

• Device Information: We collect information about the devices you use to access our services (e.g., device type, operating system).
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our app, including features you use, time spent, and performance metrics.

4) We define “user-generated content” as “texts, images, and/or videos voluntarily submitted by the user for the purpose of posting on websites or sharing across social media channels.” All user-generated content will be linked to the account or the email address used for the upload. Once posted, they may be accessed by the third party not bound by this privacy policy.

We may use collected personal data for these following purposes:

1) Providing key features and services of our app

2) Performing market and user experience research

3) Operating, assessing, and improving the app (Including developing new products, improving service quality, managing communications, product analysis, data analysis, and other internal processes)

5) Responding to your queries and requests, as well as preventing suspected fraud or other criminal activities

6) Marketing and promotional purposes, including informing of special events or free rewards, providing advertising data, or sharing data with the third party

7) Upon registering with the ExerChain app, you will receive emails related to managing your account and activities. Notification emails and motivational messages are also sent to you unless you opt out. 

8) To stop receiving emails, contact help@exerchain.io, and to disable push notifications, adjust your settings in the app. Essential system emails and legal notices will still be sent unless you deactivate your account.

Your personal data will be kept only for as long as is necessary. We take reasonable industry-standard care in keeping all our data secure and in preventing any unauthorized access or unlawful use. All personal data we store and process is handled strictly in accordance with governing data protection laws.

Certain details of your personal information may be shared with other users of the app as part of the standard operation. We may also expand or reduce our business which may involve the transfer of certain divisions or assets of our company to other parties, and the data we store and use, where relevant, may be transferred to such third parties.

We do not provide any products or services directly targeted towards children under 13 years of age, and do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

We retain users’ personal information only for the duration necessary to provide our services, and it is promptly deleted once the purpose of collection has been achieved or upon account deletion. Deletion Procedures and Methods
Personal data is securely deleted without delay once the purpose of collection and use is fulfilled.

• Procedure: Upon account deletion or user request, we verify and promptly delete the data.
• Method: Digital records are permanently erased using non-recoverable methods. Printed materials are shredded or incinerated.

User Rights and How to Exercise Them
Users can view, modify, or request the deletion of their personal information at any time using the methods below:

• In-app deletion:
Navigate to [Settings] > [My Page] > [Delete Account] to remove your account and related data.
• Email request:
Send a request to [help@exerchain.io]. We will process and confirm deletion within 7 days.

Cookies are small data files the app can store in your device, and contain unique identifiers needed to provide our service, including information on your account, sessions, and device.

We use cookies to grant your device access to key features of our app, track app usage and performance, optimize our app experience to your preference, and generate ads on your device. All cookie data transfers between our servers and your device take place within a secure network environment.

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page.

We make no guarantees as to the suitability of this app for the user, or for any of its functionality, product price, accuracy, or usefulness, and will not be held responsible in the event that damage is incurred.

We reserve the right to change this app or to stop offering its service. This company will not be held responsible if this app is discontinued, changed, or otherwise made unusable and data is damaged or lost as a result, or if the device itself is damaged, or if the device sustained damage due to another app.
